I didn't start out focused on local businesses. My proving ground was scaling customer experience for some of the biggest names in tech – Wix, Squarespace, Tripadvisor, Bitpanda. I learned firsthand how data, systems, and relentless customer focus build billion-dollar brands.

But I also saw a critical gap. While global giants optimized every interaction, countless premium local service businesses – the ones built on quality and reputation – were struggling. They were often delivering great service in person, but losing ground due to inconsistent digital experiences, untapped loyaly potential, and confusion around new tech like AI. They were leaving massive growth on the table.

I remember a specific project where we over-engineered a tech solution, forgetting the human element, and it backfired spectacularly. It was a hard lesson: technology must amplify human connection, not replace it." Or the story of seeing a local business fail).
